Hi Kim, Had to have something to say about your Burkas A while back I was served in a well known high street store by a young woman dressed in full Burka and Niqab, and I have to say that I felt kind of vulnerable. I could not read any expression, body language or mannerisms which allowed me to identify with this young woman. I felt as if I was laid bare, exposed, and that in moments she could 'know' all about me, and I nothing about her. I felt almost at a disadvantage and kind of naked I felt immediately that there was a barrier between us and I felt somewhat intimidated whilst simply making a purchase. I therefore can't see how hiding a face behind a veil and cloaking a body can benefit any of us living together in the UK.
